From April 3rd to 12th, Hollywood Plaza, in collaboration with the China Hong Kong Emerging Sports Association and Nesa Pickleball, will transform the first floor of the mall into three standard-sized pickleball courts, creating a must-visit destination for sports enthusiasts.

During the event, three international standard-sized pickleball courts will be set up with professional nets and lines, allowing participants to comfortably play and experience the exciting atmosphere. Whether you're an experienced player or a complete beginner, there's a place for everyone to shine! With over 50 experience sessions and thrilling competitions held in a marathon format, it's easy for anyone to take their first steps and discover the unique appeal of this emerging sport. 

3 Standard Indoor Pickleball Courts: HK$50 for 1-Hour Professional Coaching

During the 10-day 'Pickleball Week for All and Inter-school Challenge', the Hollywood Plaza atrium will undergo a glamorous transformation, housing three international standard-sized pickleball courts. Each court will be equipped with professional nets and standard lines, and the event will offer a diverse range of sessions catering to different needs. Whether you're a newbie to pickleball or looking to improve your game, professional coaches will be on hand to provide tailored guidance for just HK$50. They will cover the basics, including rules, grip techniques, and serving tips, ensuring that even beginners can quickly grasp the fundamentals within an hour and experience the fast-paced, captivating nature of the sport. Hundreds of primary and secondary school students, as well as open group players from across Hong Kong, will gather to showcase their skills in men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, vying for the title of academic champion. Hollywood Plaza has joined forces with V Cycle, a social enterprise, to establish the city's first dedicated pickleball recycling point, addressing the environmental challenge of difficult-to-decompose pickleballs and promoting a new green sports trend.

During the event, players are encouraged to bring their worn-out pickleballs for recycling, earning beautiful gifts or point rewards upon reaching certain quantities. This initiative not only promotes environmental protection but also educates the public, as V Cycle will showcase the process of transforming waste plastic into reusable materials, offering insight into the practical aspects of a 'circular economy.'

Additionally, a 'Green Commitment Wall' will be set up at the venue, where participants can sign in support of a 'Green Pickleball Declaration,' taking action to demonstrate their commitment to a sustainable future and further enhancing the event's positive social impact.
